The hotel is very well located, just a few steps away is the bus station from where you can take connections to the city center. Many restaurants in the area. The staff was very friendly, the room was clean with a nice balcony and the breakfast was delicious.

The hotel is perfectly located, a maximum of 40 minutes' walk from Barcelona's most important monuments. Unfortunately, there is a nasty smell from the sewage in the bathroom and the rooms are not cleaned very thoroughly. The air conditioning was very noisy, and much of the furniture in the room was worn and dirty. There's noise coming from the street. The hotel definitely does not deserve four stars.

First the good part: very well located, nice property from the outside, lots of restaurants nearby, easy access to transportation, big rooms. The downside is that the hotel is not a 4-star; it's a 3-star with a need for maintenance. There are 3 bars on the property facing the street where the party goes on until the early hours every day. Avoid getting a room on the lower floors, as the noise is very loud, and the soundproofing of the windows is not good; note that all rooms face the street. As a side note, the hotel disconnects the entire air conditioning system in the winter months. With the noise, we couldn't open the windows, and the heat was unbearable; my Apple Watch marked 28 degrees, and we were sweating all night without AC. Adding to this, the noise from adjacent rooms, where I could hear the fights of the couple next door and when they used the bathroom, if you know what I mean... We stayed for 4 nights, and two of them at breakfast, there were no juices, and the bread was from the previous day, so I recommend not prepaying for breakfast; get a better one elsewhere. Finally, the bed was very uncomfortable; it was a cheap and worn-out mattress where the springs bothered us a lot. I will definitely not return.

I've been traveling for a month and have definitely experienced 5 star properties. This is NOT 5 stars. When a breakfast room opens at 7 I expect it to be ready to roll. Particularly since I had an early tour and because I'm paying for it! The second morning both coffee machines were down. The attendants were having to make individual cups using the machines that were in the rooms. Also, during my stay, I asked for 2 taxis. Both times the company they use canceled. I realize the hotel can't control that, but I highly recommend they get a different service. I almost missed my last tour of my stay. The room was comfortable, and modern. I also enjoyed the little balcony. It was also in a good location. However I can't recommend this hotel. If you do stay here, caveat emptor.

A comfortable hotel, with lovely breakfast, excellent service and friendly staff. We booked the suite which was large enough for our family. The pictures of the rooms online looked much more modern than it actually was. Nevertheless it was comfortable with balcony access. Breakfast was lovely, fresh juices, different pastry selections, fruit, cold meats etc. the veg selection was on the smaller side and not much variety. Overall our stay was pleasant, walking distance to restaurants in the area. It’s quite a distance to La Rambla and the main shopping district. Definitely give “pizza parking” a try they are literally a few steps away!
